Market Day Terms & Conditions

The event will be held on Ramshaw Lane and in the Ramshaw Lane carpark on Saturday 27th April 2024 from 10:00am to 4:00pm. The market and parade day attracts thousands of people to Arrowtown and is an excellent event to promote and sell your products.

PLEASE NOTE: It is our intention to showcase locally made goods. All goods should be either produced in New Zealand, homemade, home crafted or home grown.

Applications close on the 31st December 2023 at 5pm but you can still register after this date to go on our waiting list.

FEE:

Please do not make payment until we have advised that you have been allocated a stall.

A non-refundable payment of $125 (incl. GST) will secure a 3m x 3m site. If you need more space, please book a double site. 

The market day goes ahead rain or shine and payment is non-refundable. Please note if the market day should be cancelled then stall fees will be refunded in full. 

FOOD STALLS:

Food stalls must have the required registration. Please contact your local council. You will need to send us a copy of your registration as we are required to compile all information and send a copy to the QLDC prior to the market.

TRESTLE TABLE HIRE:

Trestle tables are available for hire at a cost of $16.10 (incl. GST) and will be available for you to pick up when you arrive on the morning of the market.

POWERED SITES:

We have a limited number of powered sites available for a charge of $25.00 (incl. GST).

STALL SET UP:

Stalls are to be set up by 9am.

ALL VEHICLES MUST BE REMOVED FROM WITHIN THE MARKET AREA AND THE ROAD CLOSURE AREA BY 8AM AT THE LATEST.

END OF DAY:

No vehicles may enter the market area before 4pm. For health and safety reasons, vehicles must be accompanied by a volunteer in a high-vis vest to guide them when driving in the market area.
